Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for the science stream students are as follows:
- The candidate should have passed 10+2 / Intermediate and studied Physics, Mathematics, and English as compulsory subjects from a recognized education board with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
- The Students should have a 3 years of diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Automobile/Computer Science/Instrumentation Technology/Information Technology) passed from a recognised state institute or a central institute Polytechnic institute with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in Diploma Course or in 10+2 / 10th.
- The students have Passed 2 years a Vocational Course (career-focused educational programs that provide practical, hands-on skills for a specific job or trade) and non-vocational (educational programs not focused on specific job skills ). Physics and Mathematics from Education Boards recognised by Central, State board with 50% marks in separate and 50% marks in English in Vocational Course (or in Intermediate/Matriculation, if English is not a subject in Vocational Course
Age limit as on (01-01-2026)
- Minimum Age: Candidate is born after 01-01-2006.
- Maximum Age: Candidate is before 01-07 -2009.
- The candidate whose age is more than 21 years old is not eligible for the examination and not considered as eligible.

Application Fee
- Examination Fee: ₹550/- and also there will be 18% gst added after the gst the total fee is (₹649/-) and also this examination fee will not be refunded.
- The mode of payment for the examination is to be through online via, UPI, Net Banking, Debit Card and Credit Card respectively.
- If there will be any problem in the transaction such as payment not processing, not working you can contact or mail to the official website or in case of double payment the extra money will be refunded to your account.
Salary/Stipend
The salary of the candidate is as per the rules of IAF are such as:
- 1st Year: ₹30,000/- per month (In hand ₹21,000/- plus contribution corpus fund).
- 2nd Year: ₹33,000/- per month (In hand ₹23,000 plus contribution as per rules).
- 3rd Year: ₹36,500/- per month (In hand 25,550 plus other contributions).
- 4th Year: ₹40,000/- per month (In hand ₹28,000 other contributions as per rules).
- During the engagement period there will be non- contributory life insurance cover of ₹48 lakhs will be provided.
Note:- There will be no pensionary no entitled no gratuity no contribution to provident fund will be provided.
Selection Process
The selection process for the examination are as follows:
- The first step of selection is to give the examination which is Phase-I Online Test and the test will be objective type test in both languages (bilingual – English & Hindi except English paper).
- If in case of hard level of questions the normalised will be applied on every candidate.
- After clearing this phase you will be called for the document verification.Your all the documents will be in a grateful form.
- After the document verification process your Physical Fitness will be held in that examination.
Physical Fitness
For Male:
- 1.6 km of running in just 6 minutes 30 seconds.
- Minimum Height: 152.5 cms.
- 10 Pushups.
- 10 Sit-ups.
- 20 Squats.
For Female:
- 1.6 km of running in 8 minutes.
- Minimum Height: 152 cms.
- 10 Sit-ups.
- 15 Squats.
Medical Exam:
- The medical examination will be conducted by the board as in that examination your full body check-up will be held such as (Vision test, Hearing test, and more things.)
- After clearing all the tests and examination a final merit will be launched district wise, by medically fully fit, availability of vacancies and meeting all the eligibility.
