The DSSSB board has released the notification on 11 December 2025 and the form applying starting date is 17 December 2025 and the last date to apply for the examination is 15 January 2026. The interested and eligible students can apply the form under 15 January 2026. The Delhi subordinate service selection board has not released the examination date yet the examination date will be published later you can check the date on its official website.
Education Qualification
If the candidate have a degree of ITI certificate and passed from a recognised institute then he/ she are eligible for the examination and can apply.
- Essential educational qualification for MTS posts (Development Department): Minimum matriculation or its equivalent pass from recognized Board/Institution.
- Desirable qualification: NIL for all listed MTS posts as per respective department tables.
- Essential experience: NIL for all listed MTS posts.
- Desirable experience: NIL for all listed MTS posts.
Eligibility Criteria
- The candidate must be a citizen of India.
- The candidate must be eligible in terms of age, educational qualifications, experience etc. as per Advertisement / Recruitment Rules notified by the User Department for the post of Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS).
- The educational qualification, age, experience etc. shall be determined as on 15/01/2026.
- Essential educational qualification for MTS posts (Excise, Entertainment & Luxury Taxes Department; Department of Urban Development; Sahitya Kala Parishad): Matriculation or equivalent pass.
- Essential educational qualification for MTS posts (Labour Department; Drugs Control Department; Public Grievances Commission; NCC Department; Registrar Cooperative Societies; Department of Food, Supplies & Consumer Affairs): Matriculation or equivalent pass from recognized Board/University/Institution.
Salary Stipend
- Pay Scale for all Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) posts: ₹ 18,000 – 56,900/- (Pay Level-1).
- Group classification: Group ‘C’ (Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial / General Central Service, Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial) as specified for respective departments
Age Limit
- Age limit for MTS posts in all listed departments: 18–27 years the candidate should be in between 18 years to 27 years as indicated in respective department details.
- Age relaxation will be given to the categories candidate relaxations for SC/ST, OBC, PwBD, Ex-servicemen, departmental candidates, Meritorious Sports Persons, Disabled Defence Services personnel, and widows/divorced women/women judicially separated and not re-married.

- Application fee: ₹ 100/- (One Hundred only).
- Women candidates and candidates belonging to Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribe, PwBD & Ex-serviceman category are exempted from paying Application fee.
- The candidates submitting their application online should pay the requisite fees only through SBI e-pay; other modes of payment shall not be accepted/considered and the payment made shall stand forfeited.
NOTE : Application Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
Selection Process
- The selection shall be made through a One Tier Examination (I Tier – General) for the post of Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) as per the examination scheme.
- DSSSB will conduct Computer Based Examination of 200 objective-type questions (MCQs) carrying 200 marks, covering General Awareness, General Intelligence & Reasoning ability, Arithmetical & Numerical Ability, Test of Hindi Language & Comprehension, and Test of English Language & Comprehension.
- The questions in the examination will be bilingual (Hindi & English) except for the language papers which will be in the language concerned only.
- Negative marking will be applicable and deduction of 0.25 marks will be made for each wrong Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) answer.
- DSSSB reserves the right to change/amend the examination scheme, cancel/withdraw/delete any question, and prorate marks accordingly.
- Minimum qualifying marks for the written examination: General/EWS: 40%; OBC (Delhi): 35%; SC/ST/PH (PwBD): 30%; Ex-servicemen will be given 5% relaxation in their respective categories subject to a minimum of 30%.
- Marks scored by candidates in the Computer Based Examination will be normalized (if required) and such normalized scores shall be used to determine final merit and selection.
- Draft Answer Keys will be displayed and objections can be submitted online within the stipulated time; the decision of the Board on final Answer Keys will be final.
- Skill Test / Endurance Test / Driving Test / Trade Test will be taken as per requireme n and allocation of Department by DSSSB shall be based on merit-cum-preference and subject to verification of eligibility by the user department.
Exam Pattern
- The examination will be conducted as a computer based test(CBT).
- The duration of the examination is 2 hours or 120 minutes.
- The total question for the examination is 200 questions. Every question is a must.
- The total marks of each question is 1 mark per question.
- The negative marking for the examination is 0.25 marks deducted for each wrong question .
The mode of the paper is both HINDI – ENGLISH bilingual.

How to Apply
1 – Go to the official website of DSSSB MTS online application portal.
2 – If you are new then click on the new registration and fill the basic details such as Name, Mobile Number, E-mail Address, Class 10 OR ITI Certificate, A-4 Size Photo Signature and also create a strong password to create a profile.
3 – Once you create your profile then go back and login with your password and name and select the DSSSB MTS link and fill the basic details of your qualification 10 certificate or ITI certificate fill your personal details mobile number educational category.
4 – UPLOAD SCANNED DOCUMENT:
- Passport size photo
- Signature
- Photo identity proof like (aadhar or pan )
NOTE : make sure that while posting a photo and signature your photo size matches to 10kb.
5 – Pay Fee, GENERAL / OBC : Candidate – 100 and ST / SC / PWD / EX- service men basically are exempted from the fee.
Fee paid only via online phone pay debit / credit online banking.
6- After viewing all your details and paying the examination fee of the application , kindly submit it.
